Bring Them Home

This page is dedicated to the humanitarian pro-LIFE mission of disengaging the brave, dedicated men and women now serving in US military forces from the civil war in Iraq and returning most, if not all, home to the United States. This site is not anti-President of the USA, anti-Republican, anti-Democrat, anti-American, anti-Iraqi, or anti-war. It is for any legal action that may be taken to bring our service men and women home.

It is also not intended to be another site for sharing dialogue about Iraq and the rest of the troubled nations in that tempestuous part of the world. Readers who come to this page are welcome to share their opinions with webmaster Job Conger, but are asked to understand the necessary dialogues must take place beyond this page. The first place to engage them is by participating in peace demonstrations.

I attended the first peace rally on the grounds of the Illinois State Capitol a few years ago, and have stood with the Springfield organization too few times since. After standing with them on April 7, I resolved to create this page, to invite central Illinoisans to stand with them and to write their senators and representatives. The group, underr the aegis of Pax Christi gathers at noon at the southeast corner of Sixth at Monroe. They have signs to share with all who join with them. For more information about when they "stand for peace," and other local events, call Diane: 544-3997.

For information about activities of other peace organizations, visit

If you have other peace organizations whose web site links should be shared here, email me.

Write and call your senators and representatives and explain to their people you believe it is time to "bring them home. "

The time to hesitate is through. No time to wallow in the mire.
