Readers Have Written . . .
People who have purchased my books have this to say about my poetry on the printed
page.
Don't thank me for buying your poetry. I thank you!
A haunting sadness runs through so many and the loss of a loved one, in any way, is
the crucible for all humans. That is a most powerful handclasp from poet to reader. You
date it, you time it, you meet it, fight it and have the truth that no man stands alone.
So love is consumed in cinders, but from the ashes the phoenix rises. I think you have
strains here and there of Thomas Hardy's Satires of Circumstance. This is in
(your) "Bird Song", and it is also like Walt Whitman in the sacred union with
the all within, the sacred glory of live. "Tide's Reply"-- the morning flotsam
carried away while the tomorrows are forming off shore -- love it. "The Amaerican
Jehad Lament" -- how true to me too. "Earth Scent" - really super - a poem
an English t4eacher would love to share with students -- and "Ripples" - the
last poem(in Wit's End)and there is no fortress against love, and there is no
fortress of isolation. Thanks for sharing.
